On this private excursion you will explore this world heritage site in depth. With your experienced guide accompanying, you can examine the timeline, landscape & meaning of this monumentalised memorial to human ingenuity.

Itinerary

Meet at your address in London, LHR airport or at Southampton cruise ship terminal between 8 am and 1 pm.
Drive about 2 hours from London, 1.5 hours from LHR and 1 hour from Southampton to Stonehenge.
Have some light refreshment or snacks at the cafe or check out the shop whilst i gather the entry tickets which are included.
See the Stonehenge museum and exhibition with your expert guide.
Take short 5 minute shuttle, or 25 walk to the epic megalithic stone circle and we can talk about how it was built and by whom and for what purposes.
Take some momentous monumental photos.
Take shuttle back to your executive vehicle and we will return to Southampton 1 hour, LHR 1.5 hours, or 2 hours to London.

Tour Duration

This is the express version of the longer Stonehenge tours and we will aim to make the round trip in under 6 hours which will allow up to 2 hours at Stonehenge. There will be time for refreshments at the Stonehenge cafe.

Meeting Points

This private excursion is most popular with cruise ship passengers docking in Southampton as it is less than 1 hour away and towards LHR and London.

Pick -up and at Southampton cruise ship terminal for a half -day private shore excursion and return to the ship. When disembarking you can also see Stonehenge on the way to your hotel in London or to LHR airport.

From LHR airport only it can be a lay-over between flights.
