Hello and welcome to glorious England !
My name is Nick and for most of my adult life i have been a wandering, wondering academic full of wanderlust. I’m passionate about sightseeing, fond of meeting fellow travellers, photography, driving to new places, learning on the way and returning to old favourites with new eyes. Having lived in different countries and worked aboard cruise ships in ‘shore excursions’ there are still a few i have yet to visit and believe there is still much more to discover.
Although i was born in, and my ancestors and progeny hail from, the British Isles i have spent many years in British Columbia, Canada. I no longer have a British accent, which is a pity ,but at least we will speak the same language, eh.
England is the quintessential land to both visit and be a guide in as there’s such a layered history and many diverse places to tour. From monumental prehistoric megaliths, Roman baths, Anglo~Saxon forts, Norman castles, medieval cathedrals, Tudor palaces, Georgian country houses, picturesque seaside villages, vibrant modern cities and colourful characters it could take a lifetime to see it all.
When i travel to a new country i find my time is limited and that often a private excursion is the best way to make use of it.
You can travel with chosen companions, start & finish when & where you choose, on your own itinerary & at your own pace.
